In the play, Xia Dejun plays Wan Jiaming, a police officer from a community police station who was born in a scholarly family in Jiangnan and has a typical scholarly temperament; Zuo Xiaoqing plays the role of Qu Xiaohe, a retired female athlete who is sent to work in grassroots communities.
